Pine Gardens

Not a big fan of desserts.

Usually when i'm out eating, i will always fill my tummy with cooked food....meat, carbo, seafood, etc. Dessert is always the last thing on my mind and most of the time i would rather skip it and eat other types of food. The only time i cannot skip eating dessert is during birthdays and i would have to force myself to eat the cake that was being offered.

Luckily, we found Pine Gardens and the Lychee Martini cake is surprising light. I can eat 2 slice easily. Since we bought the cake there, seems like the following birthdays we will be ordering from the shop.

Chocolate Indulgence

After moving out from my mum's place, supermarket is one of the must visit place every week.

Since we don't cook often, we usually skip the meat and veg section. What's left is the snack section hence my big tummy getting bigger each week!!

Have always loved to eat chocolate and each time any tv shows showing chocolate oozing out any brownie will make my mouth water.

So when i say the below cookie and the instruction saying that i can eat it warm by poping into the oven, i cannot help imagine all the chocolate melting in my mouth.

And it was not a disappointment. The cookie is filled with chocolate. After eating 2 pieces i feel like i will be getting a big zit on my face or a sore throat the next day.

Can't wait to try it with a spoonful of vanilla the next time.

Goodbye 2009 and welcome 2010

2009 is a busy and confusing year.

Soo many things to do. So many preparation and planning and now everything is done.
It leaves me a bit apprehensive of what is next?

Like the fireworks on new years eve....must have cost a lot and must have taken a lot of preparation and after 10 mins....everything is over. The people who have cheered for the past 10 mins while the fireworks is on, is packing to leave, each one having a different memory of the same event. There will be some feeling blessed and happy just being able to watch the fireworks with family and friends and there will be some that is disappointed with the so-so fireworks.

I just want to enjoy the process and not focus too much on the end result. It can be difficult......planning can take its toil....and sometimes we are at each other throat and wouldn't it be great if we can all enjoy the whole planning process.

Same for 2009, next year is another year filled with plans...leaving me both excited and anxious.

Definitely, an exciting year ahead!!
