September in Macau

I'm here in Macau again.

Feel soo much better this time cos i'm staying for 4 days. The previous time was quite reluctant to go back as it is only over the weekend.

Went to our fav jap restaurant. Will definitely missed the sea urchin!! So fresh and sweet.

I'm coming back again in Oct. May be the last time i'm eating it....but still it is good news.

Rest time ~ Stevie is soo tired.
Went for our Seafood Galore...and shopping at Zhuhai.

2nd time eating the Seafood at Zhuhai. I like to walk around the seafood market to see all the various seafood available. We are suppose to buy the seafood from the market and bring to the restaurant for them to cook.
Stevie insisted on finding the waitress that served him the previous times cos she is really good and bargain well. Almost thought that we might not find her cos the seafood market shifted and we cannot find the restaurant. The waitress from the different restaurants are like swamp of bees following us and insisting to chose the seafood for us. Luckily, we manage to find the waitress (quite a popular gal among the other customers).

In the end we bought bamboo clams, Razor clam(longneck clam) and fish for $80 enough for at least 4 people to eat. And another $20 for the restaurant to cook the dishes, tea and some money for tips to the waitress.

Maybe next time i should try to bargain as well. I think i am not too bad at it.

My fav bridge in Macau! Finally, i get to take a shot at it.

I always though it looks very beautiful at night but there is no way to take a photo of it. The taxi pass by endless times over the bridge and the beauty i cannot capture. Stevie's friend recommended this spot to view the fireworks and this is an added bonus since it is really near the bridge. The man fishing and the lights reflection on the sea is soo nice. How i wish i took my wedding photo here.

After sitting on the rocks and fed by mosquitoes for 30 mins, the fireworks finally started. The fireworks is not too bad since Stevie accompanied me to see to make up for the one we missed in Perth.

Birthday Celebration at Wah Lok

Will be overseas for the next 3 weekends so we are celebrated my b-day in advance.
After the disappointing experience at Lei Garden, I keep pondering where is the place that I enjoyed the steam carrot cake soo much. Since we have been visiting/re-visiting the same place, I thought if I try to think hard enough, the name of the restaurant will just pop into my head.

Throughout the whole meal at Lei Garden, I keep complaining and trying to remember, then my sis just replied "Wah Lok". Didn't really belief her at first cos she is not soo particular with food.

So for my b-day, we went to Wah Lok. True to her words, the steamy carrot cake came out. Yummy!! The carrot cake is sticky, hot and there are shreds of radish. It just tasted different from the other carrot cakes we had. Mum like it so much she ordered a second helping. The century egg porridge is also full of flavor. We only ordered one bowl so that we can try more items on the menu.

The rest of the items were fine. There is nothing to complain about and nothing to make jaw drop but at least the price and the food is up to expectation. The environment is also very much family orientated and at most table there is 3 generations.

One thing is that the food is all so mini portion, which also means we can sample more food.
Too bad bro is not able to join.

Another dim sum place added to my list.

My First 3D movie

Been watching many movies lately.

Finally, went for my first 3D movie.
Didn't really fancy final destination. as everyone is dying in the show but since it has many special effects, it should be a good show to catch with 3D.

Thought it will cost $20++ per ticket but surprisingly i only paid $13.
(Sounds like a mountain tortoise).

Soo excited when we reached the cinema. Everyone lined up to get the Special Specs.

Some parts of the show the objects really seem to come right out of the screen. There were times when i moved my head thinking that it is going to strike me. Soo it is pretty cool. But really after the show, i had a bit of headache. Not sure whether it is the 3D or the specs that causes the headache. Halfway through the show, i decided to take of the specs but everything is soo blur which makes it worst.

Well at least i was lucky that i wasn't seated beside or between jac, janet and dine as they were screaming almost throughout the show. Surely beside my headache i will be frightened by them endlessly throughout the show. They even claimed no one can hear them since the movie is soo loud. Corrections my ladies, the screaming is' still audible 3 seats away.

And The Asian Kitchen, the most expensive "Zhi Cha" i have ever eaten. Food is not fantastic and the portion is soo little for the price paid. Never stepping in there again.
