House Reno Completed

House renovation is finally completed!!

Many unhappiness with my ID but finally he did all we asked him to do. He even did the plastering which he said several times it is not his responsibility.

Finally we can lock our doors and officially announce the renovation completed.

Well, actually i should give my ID some credit. He did do most of the things correctly....just a bit layback fellow. Have been complaining about him non-stop as he seems to mia after the renovation and cannot get him to do the touch up we want.

Overall, very happy with the results. Beginning to like my room. Guess once the furniture is in should be better. Although did vision it to be better but i guess considering the amount we paid, it is not that bad.

Hopefully nothing goes wrong with the washing machine....finger-cross.

Over the weekend, went to purchase the big item furnitures. Cannot wait for it to be delivered in August. The house will definitely look nice. Now all that remains is the small items and it is GSS.....will be getting many many stuff over the next few months to put in our new home.

My Crazy Neighbour

Over the weekend, for the first time i heard my crazy neighbour.

I was in the kitchen preparing some food and all of a sudden i heard “爱情不过是一场游戏。。。。" coming from the laundry area. At first, i thought it was from some CD and didn't really bother about it except it was abit loud. Then after repeating the same verse 5 times, i was thinking that something is wrong with the CD and will the song ever stop.

After closely hearing it, i concluded it is some crazy women in the neighbourhood. It won't be soo crazy if the women is not singing in an opera tone and repeating the same verse over and over again. Then i wonder, the song will be never-ending since she is just repeating the same verse over and over again.

This is getting hysterical and crazy and my bro said this is not the first time and has been on for weeks.

Lucky my mom is not around otherwise she will go into one of her episode on C**** Women trying to seduce men.

Lately, people around me is having headaches over these women. It is sooo ironic, some men marry these women because their standard are not high and they can easily marry them. But they forgot to consider that these women being poor are marrying for the sake of money and not for the well-being of these men. In the end, these men might be left with nothing after their money is being suck up dry. Talk about being Materialistic which Singapore women are always being accused of. Then wouldn't the same applies to these women? Just that they are poorer so men with a bit of money will be considered millionaires for their standard. Well, these could just be some of the unfortunate cases and there can be some happy endings which i have not heard.

I still don't get it What is sooo bad about Singapore Women? Who can support themselves and the family?? Standard too high?? Seriously, we need to reconsider the definition of Materialistic?

Why am i talking about this again? Too many sad cases around me...and the population of pubs and hostress is increasing around my area. :(

Happier with lower Expectation??

Over the weekend, went to several hotels to decide where to have our lunch banquet (yes, we kindda decided to have a lunch banquet for close relative and friends instead of the dinner gala).

While we were resting at the hotel lobby and waiting for our appointment, saw a couple happily caressing, exchanging sweet smiles and kisses while their wedding planner left them to get some files. Then i realised for the whole day, we are either discussing about what we like and don't like about the hotels we have visited or issues with the house. Not sure whether issit because Stevie and me is already 老夫老妻or issit because we are too engross in discussion and making decisions or we are just too tired running around the whole day or we just have too little time and too many things to do, etc...

Maybe we will be happier if we close one eye and not look everything under the microscope....

But can i? Of course i can, cos i have short-term memory? cos i'm an optimist? cos i am good at hypnotizing myself ?........

Well, whatever it is already set a deadline to close out all these within the next 2 weeks and what is done will be done and what is undone most likely will never get done so we will just have to forget about it and move on.

Dreaming Today

Today is another relaxing day.

Went cycling at ECP.

With my newly download songs, listening to music and enjoying the gentle breeze and calm scenery is a great catalyst for day-dreaming.

Even after the 1 hour cycle, i still want to continue and immerse myself in dreamland.

It's been a long time since i take time day-dreaming instead of thinking about the worries of reality.

Will dreams come true....well at least some already did.....

My new phone

Finally i change my phone!!!
Didn't think i will be soo happy.

Gone were the old days where i get cut off from conversations due to low batt, sending out msg which takes 5 min, no music to listen while on the bus, etc. Think i got used to all these inconveniences and just make do with my broken down phone that cannot last even a 5 min talk time.

Well, it was the first phone that i paid hundred of dollars and i swear never to pay so much for a phone again. I bought it when it was first release and hell there were many problems. Guess it is the first batch. So this time i decide to get a cheap phone.

And i got a good deal. With my broken down phone, i still can trade in and additional top of of $28 i got a nice baby pink phone. 1st day and i'm already in luv with it. Everyone keep saying Ericsson phone is hard to use but errr...i didn't even bother to look at the manual and i'm already comfortable using it.

I luv my phone....... need to feed it some music............
