Was soo angry with my ID this week. Giving me many headaches for the pass few days.
Previously, we had agreed on a payment scheme before signing the quotation.
The payment scheme is different from his usual payment scheme but he agreed.
Then when the payments come, he tried to request the payment as per his usual practice but we talk about it and he agrees with me.
This week Stevie came back and he request for additional payment again.
Didn't like that at all as I thought he was being quite sneaky about it!
As Stevie was rarely around, he was not aware and went ahead and agrees to make additional payment the following week.
The following Monday (only 2 days after Stevie agrees), ID called me non-stop for the payment.
Lucky for me my hp was low batt but once I reached home I realized he gave me 6 missed calls.
Finally, he managed to reach me on Tuesday.
First he told me the fabric I have chosen (which I have given him the code weeks ago) is too expensive and the fabric will cost $1000++. Was already quite mad about it cos despite me reminding him many times to check whether the fabric is ok, he decides to only check it now. Then, after saying that he still ask me whether he can come collect the additional payment the same night. What the hell is he thinking?? After making such a blunder he still ask me for payment and didn't even suggest a resolution!!
Got pissed off and decides to ignore him for the whole week.
Had to go look at Fabric again which makes Stevie was sooo unhappy.
Anyways, I should just calm down.
The house is looking fine and besides the above things that I am not happy about, the house is coming along just fine.

Angry with my ID

6th week into Renovation
Yesterday have to re-chose my common bathroom sink as the sink is too big.
Went down to the shop and luckily found out the taps that we bought, the old model is sold out, and we had to take the new model. The new model does not match the sink that we bought. Was soo angry the shop did not even inform us of the changes. What if it got fixed up already?!??
Not only did i have to make a choice from the limited selection, have to waste my time re-slecting and have to end up paying for the difference as well. Spent 30 min bargaining with the shop assistant. Since she not listen when i speak nicely with her, i had no choice but to get angry. Lucky, Janice did not get scare and run out of the store but she did feel puzzled why my attitude suddenly change. Well, had to end it swiftly, otherwise may have to stay in the shop for another hour.
Most of the cupboards are up and we should be done by end of the month when stevie is back again. Next week, change our lights and decide the wallpaper and we are done!

The Importance of being Earnest
Went to watch the play on Thursday.
Had no idea what it is about and was too busy to find out but since the gals have already decided to go, i just had to say "yes".
It is something different to enjoy with the gals. Anyway, it is a long long time since my last play or musical. Luckily, Raye did not chose CATS. Otherwise, i will be in a dilemma since i have already watched that previously.
The play was quite entertaining. Actually, i have to admit i enjoyed the short violin intermission more than the play itself. Maybe i am just a bit pre-occupied and the music provides calmness while the play is quite a bickering act with a tint of humor sarcasm. Only almost towards the end of the play i found the play is quite familiar and seem to know the ending. Then i realised i watch the movie before!!

4th week into Renovation
Had flu since coming back to Macau.
Flu was esp bad at night. Keep sneezing non-stop.
Was very tired and didn't really want to move my body.
But it's been 2 weeks since i visited the house and need to take a look and also promise Stevie to shot some photos for him.
Since it has been 2 weeks, was expecting some drastic change but nothing much happen.
The floor tiles are all done up with skirting, the switches are all changed and the place is a bit more tidy.
Maybe the carpentry work is still in production so it is not ready yet.
Common and Master bathroom. Wall and floor tiles all done and the bathroom door shifted as planned.
Bedroom 1 and 2. Floor tiles all done. Walls for the shifting of door are hacked. Doors are not fixed up in their new position yet.
Master bedroom floor tiles done. Skirting for the whole house is done as well.
Living room and dining room/kitchen.

Wedding Photo-taking in Macau
This weekend is my wedding photo-taking week.
It is a tiring, cold, happy, frustrating and feel pretty week.
As usual, took the Saturday morning flight at 6am to Macau.
Ate many many Ricola LemonMint to prevent myself from getting air sickness.
Got diarrhea twice (maybe due to the sweets) before landing and once after landing.
To fill up my empty stomach, had Macdonald brekkie with Stevie before heading to the bridal shop.
Ecstatic!! Many many choices.
My eyes are dazzled with all the gowns to choose from.
It is like window shopping and I have the entire shop to choose from.
First Stop is the white gowns, then is the colored once, then the traditional/costumes ones.
I am already blurred by all the gowns to choose from.
Don't know which one to try or which one to pick
Luckily I have a great dressing assistant who puts me on track.
The lady is very good and is able to pick out the style that suited my look and body figure.
It is just too difficult to decide. We have to top up money to add another gown because I cannot decide which one to take out. In the end, I chose 2 white gowns with long trail, 1 white gown with no trail, 1 red gown, 1 turquoise gown and lastly the traditional Kua. 6 outfit in all, 1 outfit more than what is in our package. All this done in 3 hours.
Think I took double the time then usual customers cos the lady did mentioned before we chose that usually girls will take 1 hour plus and guys will take half the time.
Then after lunch, it is Stevie's turn and it is done in an hour.
Monday, photo-taking day.
Weather: No sun, foggy and cold.
Reached the shop at 10.30am to do makeup. Everyone was very friendly.
Although there is language barrier but it was fun as the assistants are all young, friendly and helpful.
The makeup artist did several hairstyles, some of which, I like very much.
But my heartache each time she redo my hairstyle as she would use a big brush and brush my hair hard to do the styling. I think at least half of my hair is gone by day-end.
Wednesday, is choosing photo day.
In all there is 300 plus photos to choose from and we had to choose 90 shots.
It is a difficult task. Many things to consider
Maybe it is just me being picky
Soo many criteria to meet.
Must have enough shots from each of the 6 gowns, the different poses, the different places, etc.
We spent 4 hours just to choose the photos and end up buying 10 more shots.
We still have to choose which photos to be frame up and in which frame, etc.
We spend almost the entire day in the shop.
Can't wait to get the photos.
Stevie refuse to take some photos for me as he said it is not allowed.
Should have insisted if I knew it take 3 months to process the photos.
My god!! 3 times longer than the processing time in Singapore.
But it's ok, anyway I will have a lifetime to enjoy them
Hmm, getting hook on taking such photos.
Maybe should do another one when we are 40 years old (in another country??Japan??)
