Crazy 2 Weeks

The past 2 weeks have been a crazy week. It is just one thing after another....

- Had dinner somewhere in Orchard. It is my first asking for soup refill in a place other than hawker centre. The spicy soup was the favourite and since there is 5 of us, the soup is gone in no time and we had to order a second round. The second serving was gone in a flash and Raye suggested asking for refill instead. Such execution, we need the daring and the beauty, which is me (the daring or should i say thick-skin) and Jac (the beauty). At first, i did it becos i was thinking no harm done if the person say we have to pay then we will just pay. But to our surprise, he refilled the soup and on top of that refilled the seafood . Whoo Hoo!! Now i understand what my boss say "Don't ask and you will never get it".

- Zac Birthday celebration. A whole day event. Afternoon is for brother-in-law friends and family and night it is my sis friends and our family. Since the party is at our place, we were at both parties, although i did sneak up to the house to catch some sleep.

- Had a tiff with Steve and we make peace within the week

- Paid my ID 45% of the renovation cost, which left a big hole in our pockets.

- Received my bonus!! which mended the big hole in our pockets.

- Monday, our team lead when on maternity leave (2 month earlier than the planned date). I was suppose to learn from her all (not all but at least some of the more crucial items) the stuff before she go for her big broad leave so that i am more equip to run the team until she is back. Well, this mean i just have to catch whatever than comes and run with it (another phrase my boss use). I hope i can run with it and not run away from it. So this whole week is hectic trying to resolve some of her outstanding cases, finish mine, catch up on the rest of the team member cases to see whether there is anything that needs attention and damn this week business just keeps coming in and all the weirdest cases ever. Well, luckily i have Dolly. We complained the whole week about our cases and it is great de-stress. And our second-in-charge boss also took some time with us to ensure we are ok. Busy but interesting work week. The rest of the year can be the same minus the busy part cos i really need a massage.

- started eating breakfast

- no drinking water in office. Something is wrong with the watercooler and i keep tasting clorine in the water. So i was dehydrated for the week.

- Promotion party cancelled becos we were all too busy to plan it. Once we are less busy we should do it cos my colleagues are really a supportive bunch despite my attitude.

- Friday....ktv night until 4am. A bunch of people torturing themselves (deprive of sleep).

- Went for a haircut, scalp and hair treatment which come with a head and shoulder massage.....ahhhh sooo goood.

- sis found a job.

- the week is all about eating....fish and co, sushi tei, new york new york, sizzler, MOF, coffee club, Shokudo, 面爱面，modesto, fast food, etc etc etc
