This Year CNY left a big hole in my pocket. Last year, gave a BIG Ang Pow to Dad and Mum due to the BIG Bonus received last year. Although, this year bonus is not announced yet, still gave a BIG Ang Pow this year to match last year Ang Pow. Even though, still collecting Ang Pow this year, cannot even managed to recover half of the Ang Pow that was given out. Well, i guess being able to give more is a blessing so i should feel content rather than to complain. Hope this will continue many many years to come.
This year CNY is also a vey busy period. Besides, the usual visits, we have to rush around to see meet our ID, furnitures, electronics, etc for our new house as it is one of the few days Stevie is back. But many of the shops are closed for several days. Only the shopping centres open on the 3rd day of CNY. Well, but not too bad, we manage to see some of the potential items that we can purchase. Stevie is complaining he is doing more "work" while he is in Singapore, but i guess he is happy being busy. Well, it is the only time he is happy about shopping.
