It is a New Year again...
Time to set new goals.
What do i want this year?
Many many things.....but i hope it is effortless or at least requires just some effort cos there is sooo many things to do. Each requiring some effort would mean an accumulated huge effort required.
Not going to state each and every one otherwise it well definitely be a long list. But focus is on marriage and career.
Sooo many things to do!!!!!!
Wish that this year is a smooth year again with many achievements.

Am I different when i am with Stevie??
Someone commented that I am different when i am with Stevie?
Do I give in to him and change myself to suit him?
I was thinking what did i change because of him.
But i wasn't able to really pinpoint what behaviour did i change in particular.
Then, i think maybe i didn't realise what behavior i change because it is not a change that i force myself to or it is a change that requires a special effort on myself to constantly remind myself. It is maybe a behaviour/decision that was done spontaneously because i had him in mind.
Well, if Stevie reads this, he will be thinking what did i change because of him cos i still keep forgetting things, still being too talkative, still being nosey, still as disorganise and messy, still being too detailed, still being fickle-minded, still being irresponsible, still press the toothpaste from the middle instead of from the bottom of the tube, and many more still.....as ever.
Well, that is me and i doubt i can change much......but still....
My first car problem...Stress!
For the past few days, keep having an uneasy feeling about the car.
Then on Friday morning, i decided to just check on the car to make sure nothing is wrong. Tried to open the door but it didn't work. So i manually open the door. Hoping it is just flat batteries of the car key , i tried to start the car. And it CANNOT Start!!!
I wanted to stay and fix the car...soooo wanted to call in for urgent leave but i had 2 meetings and a deadline to meet so i decided to go to office instead. But when i'm in the office, i soo regretted not taking urgent leave. Keep thinking about the car and started to panic about not being able to fix it before CNY. I cannot stop thinking and talking about it.
Finally, the day is over and i get to see my car again. Brother-in-law came over to take a look at the car and jump start the car twice but still the the car cannot start although he managed to drive it for awhile.
Sat morning, woke up early and called Toyota. They came down to jump start the car again and we went down to the service centre. Soo disappointed we had to wait in a 2.5hrs queue before someone come over to take a look at the car. Then we have to wait for another 4 hrs before we are able to collect the car and know that it is working fine again.
Toyota gave us a new battery even though the car is able to start perfectly in their workshop. But to be safe, they replace a new battery for us for free as it is still under warranty and they even wash the car (which i intended to do before Stevie comes back).
Finally peace of mind....
Raye called for a last minute outing. Timing is just right and we went to see Twilight (nice show despite the lines were abit corny sometimes) for the night to de-stress.
Dad just reported that he drove the car out for the night and the car is working fine.

Seafood Yi-Fu Noodles
Missed the black pepper beef noodles that we cooked in Macau and was quite happy that mum is planning to cook Yi-Fu Noodles today.
Mum always plan to cook but execution is not usually in her plan. This afternoon, she was still asking me whether i would like to do the cooking instead. After packing my wardrobe for CNY, i don't think i have the energy to do so. But, alas, i still have to do it cos dad & mum got a last min invite to eat at aunt's place. Great!! Me and bro is left alone with the uncooked Yi-Fu Noodles.
Was very tempted to call KFC delivery since i was kindda craving for it since last week. But decided against the idea because don't know when mum will feel like cooking and i don't think the prawns in the fridge can wait for her next cooking. So, in the end, i cooked my first Seafood Yi-Fu noodles.
Overall, the noodles is still ok. The noodles were overcook but i can taste the seafood stock so not too bad for a first attempt given that there were not much ingredients that i could use.

Ingredients
Fried shredded eggs
Prawns
Yi-Fu noodles
Dried scallop
Spring onions
Prepare seafood stock. Simmer the prawns head and shell in 1.5 cups of water. After 30 mins , remove the heads and shell from the stock and add in the dried scallop and spring onions. Continue to simmer for another 15 mins.
Boil water and cook the Yi-Fu noodles. After the noodles have soften, drain away the water.
Lightly fry the garlic. Add in the Prawns. Once the prawns are almost cook, add in the noodles. Add in the seafood stock and seasoning. Allow the noodles to simmer awhile before adding the shredded eggs. Noodles are now ready to serve.

Shopping Spree
It is almost Chinese New Year and actually didn't intend to go shop for New Year clothes this year because i wanted to save more money and was also hoping my credit card bill will not burst again.
Well, but still think that i should at least get 1 new set of clothes for the first day of the Chinese New Year. So we went shopping yesterday after work.
At first, i was thinking 1 set of clothes can't be too difficult so we just shop leisurely. I still keep comforting Jan that we definitely can get some clothes. Soon, some of the shops started to close and then more started to close. Still, we could not find anything. Started panicking, and we searched frantically.
Then, it is a miracle!! Jan spotted something in one of the few shops that is still operating. Since there is not much choice, we went into the shop. Soon we ransack the place and start of the damage begins.
We were soo please with our loot, we decide to go shopping again today and the damage continues.
At the end of 2 days shopping, the damage is horrendous. Bought 9 clothes (2 for Stevie and 7 for myself) and 5 piece of accessories.
Now, i have to wait and face the credit card bill when it comes.

New Year in Macau
One of our favourite food in Macau. Esp during cold weather, the spicy curry soup is shiok!!
Most of the time we have to squeeze in to get to food esp during meal time.
Soo many variety. So spoilt for choice. Just wanna get each stick of everything.
