Hong Kong Day 2

Today the sun is up and shining. Great day to walk around and not get stuck in shopping centres.

First stop is the Central Mid-Level Escalator. Although we had a good work-out, this area is all about food!!!

Prawn Dumpling @ Tsim Chai Kee. The prawn dumpling are humongous. I think there are 2 large prawns in them and loved the QQ noodles.

Next we had Dim Sum at Lin Heung Tea House. Didn't take any pictures though cos the place is really messy and crowded. We went into the tea house and was immediately shoved by a waiter into 2 seats. Well, we did manage to get our Dim sum. Not as nice as expected but the chicken feets are really fatty and big. We also ordered the duck soup as many many people are eating it. Turn out nice. Cannot finish the duck after the heavy breakfast but i don't mind having the soup again.

Time to go down the long long flights of steps

Our 3rd meal of the day and it is only 1pm. Roost Goose Duck @ Yung Kee. The duck is well-marinated and tender. I must say it is really oily and fatty. And this being the 3rd meal, i really have to wash down the oil with tea tea and more tea.

As it is still early, we decided to go to Kowloon. This is the third time i'm in Hong Kong and knowing Stevie and me are not shopping fanatics, we can definitely finish off Kowloon with 1/2 day.

Walking along the streets of Mongkok. Stevie is impress that they close off the roads for people to shop.

Drinking at Lan Kwai Fang. After all the walking today, beer is great.

We decided to skip dinner after eating and walking the whole day. Too tired to enjoy any food. Well, skipping dinner is a wrong choice for 2 greedy pigs. Late in the night, we were so hungry, we went to the Cha Chan Ting (recommended by the hotel staff) nearby our hotel. The Zhu Pai Bao is sooo good. The pork is tender, the mustard sauce is nice, even the bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Much better then the one sold in Macao which many many raved about.
